The wedding dress!

I told myself I wasn't going to go around boasting the new amazing dress I got but I can't help myself. I'm not going to post a picture up of it But if you want to look go ahead.

It was a little more expensive than what I was hoping for- but honestly, it was cheaper than the David's Bridal overly produced crap, and I couldn't bring myself to buy from one of the Chinese sweat shops on Ebay. I did find another dress at a small bridal shop that was 99 dollars, but it had lipstick stains on it. She said the alterations were about 50 and the cleaning was 135 and I had to sign somehting that said they do not promise to get all the stains out. So I said eff it and got a dress that I am going to feel amazing in. Plus, my teacher told me that she would teach me how to do alterations and would pin it for me and everything for free. Yay!

Also, the dress will be matched with this little number:

It needs a hair comb but I'm hoping to have my "something old" or "something borrowed" come from that. I wish I could make one myself but I can't find directions or a pattern any where.

Now all I need to do is worry about everyone else in the wedding...

We booked a date!!!

Well I am very excited because this was my first pick- I usually fall in love with the first thing that I see- but I figured it was going to be way too expensive. But I have looked at like 10 different places and the facility rental alone was 1000 dollars, some would come with the tables and linens and then we would have had to find a reception site and a DJ and everything... Well, my first pick the one I fell in love with- is the cheapest by far- plus it includes EVERYTHING!
I fell in love with it because of the Gazebo, and when we went to look today there were 2 different areas he had us look at, the Robin's Nest and the Lookout mountain. Both are within a mile of each other up in the mountains- the Robin's Nest is probably about half the size as the one at Lookout Mountain. But I liked how it looked there much better, and the ceremony is right over a lake in the mountains, and you get to see the city skyline- perfect!

So.... we are getting married September 3rd, 2009 !!!

Yay!!!

But I want it...

Yes, I have come to that ridiculous item that I am going to beg a plead for- probably won't be able to afford- and then turn into a bridezilla and throw a big temper tantrum because I can't have it.

It's a photobooth!!! Seriously couldn't you see a million pictures of this at my wedding:

I know I could.

If you are one of my close friends, or maybe not so close but we happened to go to a mall or bowling alley or arcade where they ad one of these babies- you have a photobooth picture with me. I really dunno what could be cooler then having that at my wedding... other then the awesome cake that I might convince Jon to let me have. But seriously, I'd spend half of my time there, taking pictures with everyone.
I just wonder how much that baby costs for 5 hours of rental time =\ I bet its well over 1000 bucks. Is it cool if no one eats at my reception?
